Diet

 

Its diet consists of a lot of different animals. The jaguar is a carnivore which means it eats only meat. This diet consists of around 87 different species! Its hunting technique is very similar to that of other cats. It stalks and ambushes its prey instead of chasing them. This predator is also nocturnal which means it hunts at night.
